Fragment Design x Air Force 1 Low Premium HTM ” Black ” 2014
$995.00 – $4,595.00 / 0.0149 Ƀ
Description
This black faux crocodile Air Force 1 was released in 2007 as part of the HTM line, a collaboration between Nike and Japanese design house Fragment Design. The HTM line gets its name from Fragment House founder ‘H’ for Hiroshi Fujiwara, and ‘T’ and ‘M’ for Nike’s Tinker Hatfield and Mark Parker, respectively.
The pair comes with striking Fragment Design branding on the lateral heels, and features a special HTM insole. The tongue tag is also printed with Air Force XXV to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the Air Force 1 in 2007.
The Air Force 1, arguably Nike’s most iconic sneaker, is in many regards, the first of its kind. Previously realized in running shoes, the introduction of Nike’s ‘Air’ technology in the midsole was a revolutionary concept for basketball sneakers. Tasked with bringing the concept to life, designer Bruce Kilgore and an aerospace engineer brought the project to fruition with a hiking boot inspired, ankle strapped, high top. Kilgore’s first basketball sneaker, the Air Force 1 was brought to market in 1982. They only released 1,500 Pairs.
